Our advanced LiveScan equipment captures fingerprints electronically, eliminating the need for ink or cards. With this modern process, your fingerprints are rolled across a glass plate and scanned, resulting in faster, cleaner, and more accurate results compared to traditional ink-and-roll methods.

Live Scan technology helps avoid common issues associated with ink prints, such as smudging, smearing, and inconsistencies in ink application. One of the major advantages of Live Scan is that your fingerprints are transmitted directly to the Department of Justice, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.

How it works

Step 1

Our trained and certified technicians scan fingerprints using the latest in Live Scan equipment. The electronic fingerprinting session takes less than ten minutes.

Step 2

Prints are immediately sent via electronic transmission to appropriate FBI-certified channeling agencies and/or the Illinois State Police for background processing.
